     These days the Country of Origin does not have a major relevance on quality. In fact, many factories in China are completely automated and have been certified to ISO 9001 or ISO 9002 standards. The quantity of fitness equipment coming from Asia covers more than 80% of all fitness products sold in North America. In fact, it can be argued that manufacturers of fitness equipment in China are actual “manufacturers” of goods versus assemblers. The next time someone tells you to avoid Asian made product (especially in the fitness industry), tell them to put their head back into the sand. Even North American made products have a high level of componentry manufactured in Asia.

      In conclusion, as long as Asian manufacturers have distribution and service offices in North America, you will be well taken care of. In searching from product, look for quality and not where something might have been robotically welded.
